The Digitalization Unit is organized within the support functions sector, focusing on administration and digitalization. The focus of the support functions sector is to facilitate for other sectors to concentrate on their core activities by managing certain central processes, providing advice, consultation, and service within our areas of expertise.

The Digitalization Unit currently consists of six full-time positions and one part-time position. The unit's responsibility mainly lies in development and innovation and acts as a support for the digitalization efforts of the operations. As part of the digitalization assignment, there is also a responsibility for several larger municipal-wide systems with the roles of system owner and system administrator. For the advertised position, we are looking for a person who will take greater responsibility for the municipality's MS365 environment, Power Platform, and AI.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who has the ability to analyze and understand the needs of the operations and translate these into clear specifications. You do not need to be an expert in all processes, but it is important that you are proactive, curious, and have a desire to understand the working methods of the operations.

In this role, you will work together with other development resources to create, develop, and manage solutions in Microsoft 365 with a focus on Power Platform and AI-based solutions. You will guide and support in understanding how the technology can best be used in their operations. You will become a key person in the unit's work to shape methods, concepts, and solutions in the municipality's development platforms. The role is both strategic and operational, where you will be involved in the development of Stenungsund municipality.

• Advising and developing within Power Platform and Microsoft 365 with a focus on operational benefits, automation, and user-friendly solutions
• Being part of the municipality's work with AI-based, operationally close solutions
• Development and implementation of automation in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and openE platform
• Integration with systems within the municipality and our municipal companies
• Leading workshops, feasibility studies, and strategic dialogues
• Supporting development resources with methodology, working methods, and technical structure
• Leading the work with data-driven working methods and data-driven organization
• Being an implementation support within the area of responsibility for the municipality's operations
• Working with security issues related to the MS365 environment

In this role, you will collaborate with system owners, system managers, system administrators, information security coordinators, data protection coordinators, the IT department (Soltak IT), and external suppliers to create a robust and effective digital support for the municipality's operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education, preferably in computer science, IT, or public administration, combined with experience in system administration, or other education/competence that the employer considers equivalent.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience with Power Platform, preferably both as a developer and architect
• Experience leading workshops and driving customer dialogues at a strategic level
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365, AI, and MS Azure
• Ability to analyze needs and translate them into sustainable solutions
• Curiosity to explore new AI solutions and a desire to be at the forefront of AI development
• Interest in developing structure, methodology, and frameworks within new technical areas
